MARINE SYNOPSIS: Expect lingering fog across portions of the coastal waters today and tonight, with visibilities generally 2 miles or less. Meanwhile, high pressure remains offshore, with north or northwest winds over the coastal waters and diurnally stronger onshore pushes through the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Gradients likely remain a little weaker and may not see too widespread 25 kt winds through the Strait tonight, but will maintain the current advisory. A similar story over the coastal waters where winds likely peak around 15 to 25 kt over the outer coastal waters - especially beyond about 30 nm from shore. So while somewhat marginal, have maintained the advisory for the outer coastal waters zones as well. Seas will be dominated by a rather short period fresh swell, but should remain mostly in the 3 to 5 ft range today and Sunday, building slightly early next week. Winds bee westerly around Monday and Tuesday, but switch to southerly toward Wednesday as a weak system moves closer to the waters. Cullen (Issued: 236 PM PDT Sat Jul 30 2022 by NOAA)
